LEGO™ Explorers This program is researched base and was adapted from LEGO™ Play Therapy programs developed by Coach Apparent.  Participants will practice collaboration, sharing, taking turns, and verbal and non-verbal communication using LEGO™ kits.  This eight-week program is beneficial for children with social difficulties associated with autism, Asperger syndrome, anxiety, depression, ADHD or adjustment disorders.  It is designed to improve social interaction and communication skills. “What to do When” – Your Temper Flares, A Kid’s Guide to Overcoming Problems with Anger This session is based on the “What to do When” series of youth workbooks.  It is designed to introduce and exercise practical and healthy coping strategies for a variety of situations and challenges. Rhymes That Bind Rhymes That Bind is an oral family literacy program that parents and their children, ages 0-3, attend together.  It encourages parents to sing, rhyme, talk, and play with their children as much as possible.  The program introduces parents to various ways they can support their child’s early literacy and language experiences and, in doing so, helps promote healthy family relationships.  The Parent Link Centre will provide a snack.
