Adolescent Anxiety

Anxiety means being nervous, worried or fearful about real or
imagined threats. All adolescents have worries, but for 2-4%
of all adolescents these worries become overwhelming. This
workshop will review the different types of anxiety and the
symptoms and signs. How anxiety presents in the classroom
will also be discussed. Strategies to help adolescents manage
anxiety will be explored. This workshop is appropriate for
educators, parents and mental health professionals.
